Although this page may seem as redundant and therefore a hassle to maintain, my idea is to have a template (or similar - I'm not that savvy, as my futile intents on Template:Translation show) in each country's page where its 'latest news' will be posted and that will be included here. Possible improvements include having a template for the status background color, and also generate a template for each country to have an 'info-box' or similar to wikipedia's that will summarize in a consistent fashion the 'relevant' info and status of each. Unfortunately, as I've said I'm not a guru on templates and things, and on top, heavy use of ParserFunctions is required (ie: {{#if:||}}) is required, and I can't get it to work... --Xavi 16:43, 22 December 2006 (EST)
poor color choice
I always find the status hard to follow because the color choices aren't in rainbow order, yet they look like they should be. Red is currently almost as good as green, while orange is worse. I have to keep looking back at the key to remind myself.
If you pick rainbow colors, please use rainbow order. Likewise, if you pick blackbody (thermal: black,dark-red,red,orange,yellow,white,blue-white) colors you should use the normal order for that.

Proposing adding country boxes
I am floating a proposed convention to add country boxes to all country pages, affecting about 80 or 90 pages. If you are interested in the proposal, see the active proposal. Please add any comments there. CharlesMerriam 05:57, 10 April 2008 (EDT)
