"twext" combines the english words "twin" and "text"
"twext" also sounds like "twixt" which means "between"..
thus, the word "twext" infers a "twin text" format, where
"twext translation" is inserted betwixt lines of text.

"translation" here is loosely interpreted to include:
- traditional translations, ie english to spanish
- dialect comparisons, ie cockney to british
- synonyms within same language, ie similar to alike
- etc.

==bifocal bitext==
[[bifocal bitext]] formats "translations" carefully to
help us focus to learn new words in various languages.

twext method may enable rich, complex learning systems.

• chunk size: variable from single-syllable to multi-sentence
• MuT: marked-up-twext enables comment-per-chunk enrichment
• system: twext makes it lots easier to format bifocal bitext
