Activity installation
From the Internet (G1G1 owners, use this)
With release 8.2.0 or the currently available testing, pre-release images called joyride:
- Run the Sugar Control Panel by hovering over the central XO-man on the Home view screen.
- Choose 'Software update'
With older releases (8.1.x, or Update.1):
- Go to the neighborhood view to connect to an access point so you have network connectivity.
- Follow the directions to download a script to get activities: Bert's script
USB flash drive or SD card
with the Journal
You can install an activity from the Journal by dragging the .xo bundle from the USB device.
You can also download an activity pack, put it onto the USB device, then plug the USB device into the XO to install the pack.
