In addition to OLPC and other ICT4D solutions, I work on GIS/mapping projects.

Current Work

  • Teaching an environmental technology class with The Kasiisi Project near Fort Portal, Uganda. I will be keeping a blog to document use of the laptops with mapping, weather sensors, water quality tests, and solar power activities.
  • Making lesson ideas for Digital Literacy Project in Cambridge, Boston, and Nicaragua. Helping to supply useful content and activities.
  • DNA Lab showing inherited traits through phenotype (cartoon lizards) and genotype (simulated DNA strand)
