For the general public

To install Adobe Flash®:

1. open the Terminal activity;

2. start a "root" process by typing:

su

3. install the flashplayer rpm by typing:

rpm -i http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/flash-plugin-9.0.48.0-release.i386.rpm

or, for the most recent version (untested as of yet)

rpm -i http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/flash-plugin-9.0.115.0-release.i386.rpm
