HOPE: Rwanda a not- for -profit organisation, specifically focussing on teacher training, upskilling and development in Rwanda is currently working with the Rwandan Ministry of Education and also KIE (Rwandan Tertiary Provider responsible for B. Education Secondary). One focus is the writing of ICT modules for B. Ed and training KIE staff in ICT in Education. Contact michelle@hoperwanda.org. We see opportunities for synergy between HOPE and OLPC.

An OLPC Learning Center is being developed by the Learning Team in Kigali, Rwanda in partnership with the Rural ICT department of the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology. Supported in part by the national Rwanda deployment, it is designed to be a center for developing best practices and sharing knowledge about implementing OLPC and olpc across Africa.
