While the idea of "cheap computer" doesn't seem to draw attention from indstries and governments, the grass-root communities seems to be eager to get their hands on to OLPC. I hope there is a good way to get them involved. |

The Japanese computer community has good history of providing free/open source software, especially supporting the internationalization of large scale software such as X11, TeX, Unix, Emacs, etc., etc.
While the idea of "cheap computer" doesn't seem to draw attention from indstries and governments, the grass-root communities seems to be eager to get their hands on to OLPC. I hope there is a good way to get them involved.
