As the most popular laptop size now in South Korea is with 12.1" display panels, we hope to make a prototype (mock-up) model of a larger OLPC. Fortunately, as there are many governmental laboratories which help people to make various mock-ups, we are now designing the exact size of the larger OLPC based on one of the best seller laptop PC in South Korea. |

A Larger OLPC is OLPCs for 13~18 years old students, mostly under secondary educational processes such as middle or high schools.
The below is our opinion about the size.

There is some problems here. The display panel of original OLPC has 4:3 (H:V) ratio 7.5" panel, but the market situation of South Korea is that 4:3 (H:V) will disappear in 3~4 years. To avoid the situation of OLPC and the larger OLPC being the only 4:3 display PCs in the country, we also adopt 16:9 (H:V) display panel to the larger machine.
Then, how about the resolution (1600x900 pixel) etc? Is that a kind of trouble in pouring the SUGAR XO to that machine?
