The schedule for the Jam is under construction, and locations and details will be filled in as the Jam grows nearer.

Wednesday, August 1

  • 9am - attendees arrive; mingling, getting settled
  • 10:30am - Kickoff! Work begins.
  • 6-6:30pm - Dinner (bring your own food), 2-min stand-up presentations by teams on progress
  • Midnight - Hot Chocolate break (...lemonade, tea, coffee also available for non-chocolate fans)

Sunday, August 2

  • 11am - Teams begin setting up their test rooms
  • 1pm - Judges (local schoolchildren and teachers) arrive
  • 1-1:30pm - Judges orientation (judges only)
  • 1:30-2pm - Judging kickoff (all attendees)
  • 2-4pm - Judging! Teams free to watch or mingle, or attend other Open Space events
  • 4-4:30pm - Votes and counting (judges only)
  • 4-4:30pm - Feedback session (attendees only)
  • 4:45pm - Final ceremonies: Announcement of winners, presentation of prizes
  • 5pm - Done!
