For the general public
To install Adobe Flash®:
1. connect to the internet
2. open the Terminal activity;
3. start a "root" process by typing:
su
4. install flashplayer by typing:
rpm -i http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/flash-plugin-9.0.48.0-release.i386.rpm
or, for the most recent version:
rpm -i http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/flash-plugin-9.0.115.0-release.i386.rpm
To uninstall:
1. open the Terminal activity;
2. start a "root" process by typing:
su
3. remove flashplayer by typing:
yum remove flash-plugin-9.0.48.0-release
or
yum remove flash-plugin-9.0.115.0-release
depending on the version you installed.
