Let's discuss a template for an OLPC Country Page. What should be good reflexes, chapters to develop? Herewith a kick-off:

  1. Intro
  2. Links to the wikipedia about the country
  3. Look backwards: use the search function in this wiki to build capacity and learn what others have been doing in the region/country you're working on. On the pages these people have developed, leave a note on the discussion tab/page inviting them to come together, build upon what they've been doing and develop capacity.
  4. Invite everybody to check out http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Participate
  5. Brainstorming Session
  6. Prioritize the Results of the Brainstorming Session
  7. Scenario Building, including a thumb rule financial plan
  8. Make a list of some local Non Governmental Organizations. Wouldn't it make a lot of sense to ask them if they would allow you to use their infrastructure, secretarial staff, shared printers, phone, internet, eating space, network, credibility, access to finance and grant-forms to set up an OLPC department?
