At SXSW : talking with Melissa Hagemann, Erik moeller, and Rich baraniuk about the evolution of textbooks. Central themes : the return of social transfer of knowledge as integral part of learning and understanding; the deprecation of static works.

Discussions: How to connect groups in Haiti and Mongolia. How to merge ideas of lensing (on CNX) and content stamping (elsewhere).

Connection: also with Four Kitchens, now working on Open Library API development, and coordinating WP citations with OL entries. (not yet addresse in that discussion: annotation.)
