20120509: Sven wrote an emailed Samia LOUNIS - OLPC Europe and asked her if they take this up with the Ministry of Education and federation of education organising networks (Christian, State, Communal, ...). Awaiting reply.

Analysis of the product:

  1. Can it withstand kids handling them?
  2. I have nothing against putting an alternative product against the iPad. Tabbled is nearly as good as an iPad for just 99€.
  3. Price tabbled vs 164€ OLPC XO. Remember: an XO is And a laptop And a portable casing And PV chargeable ready And it is open soft and hardware And they put themselves automatically in a network. The tabbled does NOT have a casing. That has to be purchased separately.
