This http://opensource.muanglao.com/ is the open source community in laos.
If you have tutorials, internet, books,... it is easy to teach your self how to use a computer. The children in laos don't speak english. There is no documention in lao language available. The lao open source community starts to translate firefox. If they don't get financial support for translating NOW, the hardware is worth nothing.
