Things that need to go in the test plan:

Automated tests

  • Not adding to this, not focusing on documenting what's going on, but tinderbox is still chugging away.

Smoke tests

  • These should be run on every build released, and no further testing should be done unless these things get covered first.
  • Pull them from the 8.2.0 tests, http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Test_cases_8.2.0#Smoke_Test - this is too long. Smoke tests should take <1hr for builds, but can be longer for builds we're going to test, <2hr.

Bugfix tests

Regression tests
