From OLPC

The OLPC software stack is made up of various packages.

• The XO primarily uses olpc-update to update to a new build. This effectively does a mass package update to everything in the new build.

• It also provides the standard rpm and yum Linux package managers.

• There is also the xo-get script to install additional activities.

These are all command-line tools.
