Who I am

My name is Kevin Crews, and I am a student at the Illinois Math and Science Academy. I am a founding chair of the IMSA Campus Chapter. My interests are in the science behind how we learn and adapting teaching methods as we discover more about this. A specific interest of mine is Human-Computer Interaction and its effects on education.

In my limited free time, I am active in Student Council, Rowing, The Association of Consortium Student Governments, United Synagogue Youth, The Jewish Culture Club at IMSA, and am currently conducting a research project in neuropsychology at The University of Chicago.

Projects

As a co-chair, I am responsible for organizing the group towards common goals and projects, as well as assisting each small group in reaching their goals. For more information, please see the IMSA Chapter page.

• Organizing a presentation at the Chicago OLPC Grassroots Group meeting on January 22
• Preparing a presentation for Tech2008 in Springfield, IL (pending acceptance)
• Organizing a Summer Research group
• Working to strengthen our interaction in the Chicago OLPC Grassroots Group
