numbering necessary for words to be translated

If no numbering at all, possible to miss one or more items when translation and difficult to find which.

"Type" as in "type a word" or as in "this sort of car" ? German for "writing" would be "schreiben" or on the keyboard "Tippen" but the first would be better. What is the Marquee function supposed to do? The german "Festzelt" is a "celebration tent", I don't think that is the function in mind. t.woelk

In the context of drawing programs, "marquee" refers to the tool that allows you to select a region by enclosing it with a shape—typically a rectangle. The word is used because the selection is shown with a dotted outline that moves around the shape; this is reminiscent of theater marquees (the sign above the entrance to a theater that says what is playing), because they have lights that blink in a pattern that moves around the edges. "Rectangular selection" would be another name for the rectangular marquee.
I'm not familiar with this program, so I can't say in what context "type" is being used, but note that it can also refer to the typeface being used—essentially the same as "font". —Joe 13:20, 3 September 2007 (EDT)

Localization integration

How will this be integrated with the POT & POs in Fedora, git and such? We are trying to coordinate stuff :)

BTW, I had also added a question about "type" in the main page, but they all seem unanswered... Xavi 10:31, 19 September 2007 (EDT)

On closer examination, it seems likely that they meant "type" as "typing with a keyboard". The application name looks Portuguese, so I assume that that is the most reliable source text. When I translate the "digite" text from Portuguese to English using Google Translate, it returns the text "it types", which implies keyboarding over other interpretations. —Joe 11:01, 19 September 2007 (EDT)
