Website/multisite

Multisite is very well documented on the Drupal getting started guide.

Setup is straightforward. In brief, one creates a subdirectory inside sites/ for the individual site, configures settings.php appropriately, and creates some symbolic links.

From the apache side, we could configure a web alias for whatever domain as one for one.laptop.org. This has the downside of meaning that any path that is accessible on one site is also accessible on the other, which can be confusing. (content / files available at two, apparently unrelated domains)

… or set up a separate domain entirely. (the second option appears to be too much work if the first turns out to be sufficient)
