Google의 Summer of Code를 현지화한 모델입니다. OLPC Korea의 Software Jam은 각 부문별 가치 생산 과정의 Workflow를 작성하고, 워크플로우를 구성하는 각 모듈의 파이썬 프로그래밍을 지향합니다.

가령, <정부부문 - 중앙정부 부문 - 건설교통부 - 교통정책과>의 경우, 해당 과의 업무 흐름표를 작성하고, 업무 흐름표 상의 각 모듈을 Python으로 코딩함으로써, 해당 부처/국/과/실 각 조직 단위의 업무가 XO 노트북으로 구성되는 웹 상에서 투명하고, 효율적이며, 실시간으로 집행될 수 있는 환경을 제공하는 것이 그 목적입니다. 이는 시장을 구성하는 각 사업 단위에도 적용됩니다.

OLPC Korea는 중앙정부, 지방정부, 산업체, 교육 기관 등 한국 사회의 가치 생산 흐름에 참여하는 1,000,000여 구성단위 각각을 위한 워크플로우와 업무 자동화 소프트웨어를 오픈소스 방식으로 개발을 지원합니다.

이러한 소프트웨어 개발 프로젝트는 그 규모가 대단히 방대하므로, 각 부문 별 소프트웨어 재사용성을 높이고, 개발 과정의 합리성을 높이기 위한 일련의 지침이 개발 중에 있습니다. 이러한 지침을 우리는 Open Enterprise Architecture라 부르는데, 그 기초는 미국 연방정부의 FEA입니다.
