I'm thinking that in future it may be desirable for the proposals to go up on their own sub-pages (e.g. Conventions/Country box) instead of hosting them on the main Conventions page. Link to proposed convention goes somewhere prominent on main Conventions page. Point of this is that when proposal closes, and is pasted elsewhere, it more-or-less loses contrib history (which is still there on main, but intertwined with any other active proposals at the time, in otherwords, in a not very useful format). Also, the "elsewhere" element isn't well-defined, whereas a sub-page hierarchy of successful (and unsuccessful) proposals, is readily browseable/reviewable. Just a thought for consideration that comes up as work on implementation of two current proposals moves along towards the close phase. [[User:Cjl|Cjl]] 17:09, 2 May 2008 (EDT)

Please use this page for discussions of the Conventions page. For discussions on active or accepted proposal, please make your comments on the Conventions page directly. CharlesMerriam 09:15, 8 April 2008 (EDT)
