: I'm only an OLPC Support Gang volunteer, but my understanding is that "unused" is defined as "no longer in use by the current owner", previously loved XOs that could do more good in Haiti than where they currently are. Even currently broken XO laptops are being accepted, they will be refurbed and have their software updated, (or depending on what is broken, I would presume harvested for spare parts). The XOs do not need to be "never used". [[User:Cjl|cjl]] 21:37, 29 January 2010 (UTC)

unused or no longer used?

I'm only an OLPC Support Gang volunteer, but my understanding is that "unused" is defined as "no longer in use by the current owner", previously loved XOs that could do more good in Haiti than where they currently are. Even currently broken XO laptops are being accepted, they will be refurbed and have their software updated, (or depending on what is broken, I would presume harvested for spare parts). The XOs do not need to be "never used". cjl 21:37, 29 January 2010 (UTC)
