I don't like Mediawiki nor html so I take pains to avoid doing anything complicated with them.

I am especially interested in working with teachers, content development, and grassroots organization. Also, interested in helping children with learning problems. I myself struggled learning disablities as a kid and improved with help from extremely caring teachers.

In general, I do not like top-down approaches.

I have lived and worked outside the US for the last 6 years in the Middle East, East Asia, and now South Asia.

I speak Mandarin Chinese poorly and cannot more than a few characters.

I was a member of the United States Embassy corps for about five years before quitting in September '07 to work full-time on making OLPC a reality for Nepal.
