The US Public Broacasting System (PBS) news program NOW recently aired a very interesting [http://www.pbs.org/now/shows/414/index.html program] on the issue of families in western Nepal sending daughters into indentured service and the efforts of the [http://www.nyof.org Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation] to end this practice through agricultural aid and education. NYOF on PBS
The US Public Broacasting System (PBS) news program NOW recently aired a very interesting program on the issue of families in western Nepal sending daughters into indentured service and the efforts of the Nepalese Youth Opportunity Foundation to end this practice through agricultural aid and education. Som Paneru was interviewed during the segment.
