LinuxFest Northwest 2008
(Bellingham, WA) Over 1,000 people attended LFNW, choosing between 96 sessions, and 60 vendors in the vendor fair. XO Laptop presentations were well attended with Jonathon Davis winning the 'Project Challenge Jam', many good conversations were had with leads on 6 or 7 possible future projects and implementations.
Health Jam
(Seattle, WA) A handful of people attended the Health Jam with a group discussion about Health and Medical implications and use of the XO laptop. Connections were established with a team from World VistA and Health professions in the surrounding area.
Community Jam
(Cambridge, MA) The Community Jam is happening Saturday, May 3, thanks to the efforts of Edward Freedmman. More to come after.
