Punjabi is a language of India written in the Gurmukhi alphabets. The most important work of Punjabi literature is the Sikh scriptures, Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

Most Linux distributions provide suitable fonts and keyboard layouts for Punjabi. A version of Linux localized in Punjabi is in development at Punjabi OpenSource Team.
