Notes from Nigeria 5/07
Throughout the schoolday, [the teacher] worked on three different topics: 1) Livestock, where children had to draw an animal of their choice and then write why it was useful. 2) Reading comprehension, where they read, all together, then answered the textbook questions on their XOs. 3) The thermometer, where children had to draw two thermometers comparing Celsius and Fahrenheit. --Carla Gomez Monroy, Learning Consultant, OLPC
