== Welcome back @home :) ==

Hi Mel, welcome back I'm tying to get some local '''Kalibo, Aklan''' teachers to make up something in the way of a curriculum/leason plan and ''hoping the pilot project will be held down here'' but without them actually having seen a XO-1 and played around with it, the only thing I could suggest is 1) spencer's cards (speed math) as a html table or AbiWord doc. 2) Word of the week as heard on the radio sample "Presidential Pardon?" older kids or Kokoy Darna ... younger kids. ie. they pull a word out of a jar and write a paragraph or two about it or what they think that the word meens. the classmates would write the words heard and place in the jar.

'''Please''' if you happen too make it to Boracay then '''please''' stop by the Aklan special education center it's less than 5 minute from the Kalibo airport. --[[User:Chief Mike|Chief Mike]] 02:49, 30 October 2007 (EDT) <br> PS My phone number and address is on my user page if need it :) ,sorry but I don't SMS-text :(

Localization of OLPC/Fedora To Indonesian Language

I had create a complete set of Indonesian PO files from OLPC localization project.

Unfortunately there is no team manager of Indonesian language localization project.

The procedure to become the team manager is difficult and complicated.

Where should I send the PO files?

Thank you.

Sorry to barge here, but we are currently trying to set up an alternative to solve these kinds of issues and also allow online translations (problem is we need to test & establish procedures). So I would suggest filing a ticket in http://dev.laptop.org following the currently established procedure. Other alternatives (like sending them through email, posting on the wiki, etc) are likely to cause more confussion.
If all goes as planned, by friday we should have the alternative ready and a proper announcement made in the Localization page. BTW, registering in this wiki would also be a good thing to do as a contact point. Cheers --Xavi 09:52, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

Task Tracking stuff

I've got a general brainstorm page up to discuss requirements for a task tracking system (simply put, what should it do?). Please check it out, give some feedback, propose some ideas, etc. --Nikki 11:34, 18 October 2007 (EDT)
