The standard G1G1 OLPC power adapter is rated for 240 Volts AC, so electrically it is perfect, but physically it will not work in many places outside North America.
This is a photo of the same adapter showing the physical plug which would be required to allow charging the XO in Great Britain.
These photos show the power supply fitted with other common adapters.
