3rd OLPC NL meeting: 16 Feb 2008 in Leiden!

  • When: Saturday, Februari 16th 2008, starting at 2 pm to latest 6 pm (we'll find a place to eat together around 6, for whoever is still there and hungry then)

Like always, everyone is welcome to join our 'gezellige knutselmiddag'. We hope to be again a colorful mix of people from various backgrounds like information technology, electro technology, education, media, non-profit organizations, international business, politics, to name just a few. Please add yourself to the list below to give us an indication of how many people we'll be. We are promoting this meeting again just P2P, therefore forward the invitation to all people you think might also be interested in the idea is much appreciated. Thank you!

2nd OLPC NL meeting: 19 Jan 2008 in Delft!

  • When: Saturday, January 19th 2008, starting at 2 pm to latest 6 pm (we'll find a place to eat together around 6, for whoever is still there and hungry then)
  • Where: Mensenvereniging Wolbodo (Sociëteit NOVUM), Verwersdijk 102, 2611 NK Delft
  • Getting there: directions; it's about a 10 minute walk from the trainstation Delft; parking is best possible at the Paardenmarkt, along Phoenixstraat (below the tracks) or in the parking garages Phoenixstraat or Zuidpoort
  • Available infrastructure at the location: a beamer, a bar and hopefully a wireless router that works ;) and, most important: A number of XOs will be available for playing around.

1st OLPC NL meeting: 15 Dec 2007 in Amsterdam!

Our very first gathering will be

  • When: Saturday, December 15th 2007, starting at 2 pm
  • Where: 'Canvas op de 7e' (Horeca & Exhibitions), Wibautstraat 150 (oude Volkskrant gebouw), Amsterdam; take the elevator to the 7th floor.
  • Getting there: I won't even start about parking your car in Amsterdam... but the Metro station Wibautstraat is basically in front of the building (btw, all metro lines from central station will stop at Wibautstraat).
  • Available infrastructure at the location: fast and free wireless, a beamer, enough comfty seats, an open bar and a spectacular view.

  3. We are looking for people who want to demonstrate what they have been working on. Please add yourself to the list incl. name, contact, title of presentaion, estimated time needed for presentation): We know that lockwood (activity game) and others are planning on demonstrations.
