Localization of OLPC/Fedora To Indonesian Language

I had create a complete set of Indonesian PO files from OLPC localization project.

Unfortunately there is no team manager of Indonesian language localization project.

The procedure to become the team manager is difficult and complicated.

Where should I send the PO files?

Thank you.

Sorry to barge here, but we are currently trying to set up an alternative to solve these kinds of issues and also allow online translations (problem is we need to test & establish procedures). So I would suggest filing a ticket in http://dev.laptop.org following the currently established procedure. Other alternatives (like sending them through email, posting on the wiki, etc) are likely to cause more confussion.
If all goes as planned, by friday we should have the alternative ready and a proper announcement made in the Localization page. BTW, registering in this wiki would also be a good thing to do as a contact point. Cheers --Xavi 09:52, 16 October 2007 (EDT)

Contact Graham at the email above, he is in Makati.

Tomorrow Oct 19, 2007 Friday 9am-5pm I'll be in Diliman Preparatory School, to reach it get off at Quezon Avenue MRT Station, get on an FX going to SM Fairview, get off at Diliman Preparatory School (after Iglesia ni Cristo Church)

On Monday I'll be in Makati in Rada Street, Legaspi - FCC Building, please use www.mapcentral.ph to locate places.

We need a box of 5 B2-1s and another of machines nearest to production unit. We will be setting up a OLPCPH XO machine laboratory for developers.

The bricked B2-1, we hope that there is a debricking tool available and a replacement. Please follow up these things and have the stuff sent to my address by checking my website, Walter and the OLPC team knows what happened.

The Curriculum Jam was not successful but we are now moving on to make new things up. Mike Kouklis was assigned to create curriculum.

Task Tracking stuff

I've got a general brainstorm page up to discuss requirements for a task tracking system (simply put, what should it do?). Please check it out, give some feedback, propose some ideas, etc. --Nikki 11:34, 18 October 2007 (EDT)

Welcome back @home :)

Hi Mel, welcome back I'm tying to get some local Kalibo, Aklan teachers to make up something in the way of a curriculum/leason plan and hoping the pilot project will be held down here but without them actually having seen a XO-1 and played around with it, the only thing I could suggest is 1) spencer's cards (speed math) as a html table or AbiWord doc. 2) Word of the week as heard on the radio sample "Presidential Pardon?" older kids or Kokoy Darna ... younger kids. ie. they pull a word out of a jar and write a paragraph or two about it or what they think that the word meens. the classmates would write the words heard and place in the jar.

Please if you happen too make it to Boracay then please stop by the Aklan special education center it's less than 5 minute from the Kalibo airport. --Chief Mike 02:49, 30 October 2007 (EDT)
PS My phone number and address is on my user page if need it :) ,sorry but I don't SMS-text :(

Problem is most accesable comp's here have very slow downloads times. I tried download of GTK+ for four hours then power failure lights went out so lost the file was thinking about asking someone to burn a CD-Rom with XO-1 emulation vice trying and failing another download attempt. Another possible problem is small physical ram (128-256MB) on most mochine's (excuse my sometimes puposefully :) mis-spelling) sorry i had problems with syntax on IRC (freenode-site asking my OLPC password then kicking me out soon after I entered username/PW I'll try again tomorrow though as for tonight I think I better go home now my times up at I-C@afe here "Bukas Na!" --Chief Mike 10:43, 30 October 2007 (EDT)

Jam in a box ?

Hi Mel,
I've been talking to a lot of people around here lately and would really like to host a Media-Jam(Press conference/public demo "I do understand what a jam is supposed to be but I'm just thinking out of the box on this one") here in Kalibo, Aklan during the Ati-Atihan third week of January just before Australia's event.
Would it be at all possible to get a kit(or ??) then send it on to Melbourne ?

I know you are all very busy xmas rush? but hope that we can make this could happen :)
