translation coordination

Hi! We are trying to coordinate and standardize the efforts of the translating efforts within the community. Please read the new Translators page and register if interested. If you have any questions, please drop me a note. Cheers, --Xavi 18:02, 13 April 2007 (EDT)

native language

Hi! Welcome! I noticed that you 'flagged' yourself as a Romanian translator. I made (well, copy-paste, technically) some templates for languages that you can include into you page as a romanian speaker/native speaker. If you want to 'declare' to the system (and thus the community) your status I suggest you include the following in your page:

{| style="float:right"
 |{{User ro}}

Technically the above is two things: (1) a wiki-table - for layout purposes; (2) the {{User ro}} flag as a native speaker. If you speak other languages (ie: english) you should just add "[[Category:User en|{{PAGENAME}}'']]"—being the "en" the two letter language code.

Please take a look at the Translating & Translators pages to get a feeling of how things are being organized, we need eveybody's input in trying to shape it as it's work-in-progress. Feel free to drop my a note if you have any questions, or you can do it in Talk:Translators. Cheers --Xavi 08:37, 16 April 2007 (EDT)

editions in

Hi! I made some edits in and Please review the changes ('root' page edits and top-level edits), hopefuly they'll be visible enough—if not just ask me! :) Cheers, --Xavi 08:22, 17 April 2007 (EDT)

I noticed the chagens, thanks for the help! --Alexxed 08:30, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
Welcome! I just don't want to be a nag, but unfortunately part of the translating structure is a bit fragile... so, any ideas (and critic) on how to make it easier/better it is welcome! :)
BTW, I 'fired' my note a bit too early as I had seen later in the Special:Recentchanges your translation of The OLPC Wiki using the right templates :) --Xavi 08:40, 17 April 2007 (EDT)
