It would start out as several families putting their family tree on the web independently, but could eventually grow to the point where people could actually discover relatives they didn't know they had by looking at the website. |

The idea
Some people are "notable enough" to warrant article pages on Wikipedia. Others... aren't. We're all "notable people" to our families, though.
