- Carlos Nazareno Brought one of the XO-1 units to the Philweavers christmas party, adding awareness about OLPC to the Philippine Web Designer/Developer community.

- The OLPC PH team joined Software Freedom Day 2008 as a booth sponsor and was able to showcase the XO-1 laptop and OLPC PH grassroots to attendees of the event.
