[[User:php5|Do Young-Min]] has compiled a [[XO Korea/hobby and profession|UN Standard Product & Service Classification (UNSPSC)]] list (many of the links on this page are incomplete) on this wiki, including all the various industries and sectors that the UN can think of. There are companies, guilds, associations, and communities built up around each of these industries and sectors, complete with domain experts in each, probably in various locations and languages as well.
There is ''Hobby & Profession'' page in this wiki, of which purpose is to present information about each industry or business similar to, and based on, wikipedia, but somewhat different, because ''they will be coded''.

It would be great if we could involve experts from each of these sectors in creating educational materials for children to learn about what they do. Any company in any field can make lessons and resources to educate of children about what its field/industy is doing for the entire value production processes of a society or a nation. In this way, any person or company can get involved in producing open content curricula, and children will be able to see how the jobs of their parents and others in their communities fit into the local and global economies.

For instance, how does the ''prefabricated structures'' industry in Guatemala produce value and affect the local and global communities? A Guatemalan company that manufactures and installs aluminum sheds might write a wikibook explaining what their company does, post pictures and stories of how their sheds are used, make a video showing how a prefabricated shed is designed and constructed, make podcasts of interviews with company workers about various aspects of their jobs, and include an invitation for interested children to come for a factory tour on the first Monday of each month. A Guatemalan child curious how the prefabricated building in her town was made could find the answers through these resources, and the employees at the shed factory could share their work experience and knowledge with their sons and daughters, with children at a local school, with manufacturers of prefabricated buildings in another country, or even with children halfway across the world curious about what a shed company in Guatemala does.


This idea could become several projects. A project for the [[Summer of Content]] program could involve facilitating the creation of one or more of these modules by local companies.
Participants of SoCon can write both introductory and fully detailed materials for children to learn what each industry is for, based on [[XO Korea/hobby and profession|UN Standard Product & Service Classification (UNSPSC)]] table. Any company in any field can devote to education of children about what its field/industy is doing for the entire value production processes of a society or a nation.


Based on content written by any field participating in this SoCon, subsequently, workflows of the field will be written using [[XO Korea/yawl|YAWL]] or other workflow language to show the standard procedure of how the product or service is produced, delivered, and consumed. And, each module in the workflow will be coded using [[Python]] as reusable modules or objects.
