XO 응용 프로그램은 활동이라고 부릅니다. 이 문서는 미리 설치된(Preinstalled) 활동들과 직접 설치할 수 있는 활동들에 대한 자세한 내용을 담고 있습니다. 이 위키에 각각의 활동에 대한 자세한 정보가 있으며 아래에 있는 활동들의 목록은 대부분 자세한 정보를 담은 문서에 연결되어 있습니다. 활동에 대한 일반적인 정보는 laptop.org 웹사이트에 있습니다.

활동을 설치하려면,

1. XO에서 활동 보기를 시작하십시오.
2. 브라우저에서 이 문서로 이동하십시오.
3. 다운로드: 다음에 있는 .xo 묶음을 클릭하십시오. 예를 들어 Implode를 다운로드하려면, Implode.xo를 클릭하십시오.
4. 다운로드가 완료되면 OK를 클릭합니다.
5. 작업표시줄(taskbar)을 보기 위해 Home 글쇠()를 누릅니다. (왼쪽 위에서 5번째)
6. 활동의 아이콘이 보일 때까지 화살표를 클릭하여 작업표시줄을 오른쪽으로 스크롤하고, 아이콘을 클릭하여 실행합니다.

설치한 활동을 제거하려면, 일지(Journal)의 상세 보기에서 다운로드 내역을 지우고 XO를 다시 시작하면 작업표시줄에서 제거됩니다.

몇가지 활동과 콘텐츠 모음을 사용할 수 있습니다. library grid, WorldWideWorkshop, GCompris 모음을 보십시오.
