This is the bulk of pages translated into Korean. Pages are included here by the use of the Template:Translation automatically.
Warning: There's been a confusion about the language code for Korean—using kr instead of ko. We are in the process of redirecting and relinking the pages. Since we don't want to create havoc or pollute the wiki as a consequence of this mistake (I'm to blame for the mistake—User:Xavi) we should try to set a standard mechanism that avoids further problems while trying to fix this one.
I propose / suggest we:
- move all /lang-kr pages to their /lang-ko destination.
- the automatically generated REDIRECT should be tagged with {{deletere}} for its elimination once finished
- edit all intra-Korean and other possible links in the wiki to point directly to the /lang-ko (instead of passing through the REDIRECT
- a helper here is to go to the REDIRECT page and follow the link what links here
- finally, and only when we are sure that we have completely orphaned the REDIRECT we'll start deleting them or redirect them to a general notice notifying anybody linking to an 'obsolete' page that they should update their bookmarks.
- at one point all the kr references should be removed from this wiki, as that is a valid language code for another language.
We should be careful or somehow avoid stepping on each other's toes and editions... Opinions? --Xavi 09:39, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
- The main site, www.laptop.org/ko has been moved as well. Thanks to everyone for helping to sort this out. --Walter 19:52, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
